My art is inspired by the wilds of Coquetdale in Northumberland. I enjoy being outside; feeling and hearing the weather, breathing in, seeing, and listening to nature, drawing and painting a response to being alive and outside. Back in the studio these sketches are combined with my memories of being in that moment.
